Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump Selection
For all the advantages and reliability of liquid ring vacuum pumps (LRVPs), determining the correct size for an application is not a dispensable task. Wintek is an expert in the correct sizing while selecting liquid ring pumps. Wintek will also help you through this process. Many factors affect the operation of this pump. Factors including the following: cooling/sealant temperature, vapor temperatures, and solvents handled. Moreover, vapor loads (dry, saturated or partially saturated), sealant viscosity, back-pressure, and etc are also some important factors that must be taken into account.
Whether we opt for single stage or two stage pump designs depends on the operating pressure. Two stage pump designs will pull deeper vacuum, but should not be operating continuously at higher absolute pressures.

Single-Stage Motor-Mounted LRVP (1.5 – 10 HP)
These pumps have their motor mounted directly to the pump as one single unit. The compact design can be useful, but servicing the pump can prove difficult.

Single-Stage Monoblock LRVP (1.5 -100 hp)
These pumps connect to their motor via a coupling. If the motor needs to be replaced, the old motor can be easily removed without having to remove the pump.
